Thanks to support from the British Embassy in Mongolia, Uram NGO, the World Bank, and Koika NGO, a computer center was established with 10 computers in March, 2004. Classes are offered to children ages 10 to 18 in small groups, Monday through Friday, and are based on children’s interests. Eighty percent of the students in the center attend computer classes and in addition to learning different computer programs, they are given free time to improve their skills. The computer center was renovated in 2011 and old monitors were replaced with LCD screens greatly increasing the value of the center. Additionally, 6 of the computers in the center are connected to the Internet by Univision.
